Welcome To Buzy Bee Day Nursery

Welcome to Buzy Bees Nursery in Coventry. We cater for children from 3 months to 8 years of age all year round. We provide a friendly atmosphere, which creates a home from home experience for the children.

I am a qualified Nurse who is specialised in dealing with learning difficulties,i bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in child protection, which supports the nursery in safe guarding each child.

Maureen plays a key role within the nursery and staff training. She ensures all staff are given the opportunities to familiarise themselves with any new courses and legislations.

Regular reviews of our service are made, always with a view towards quality and development. As security is of paramount of importance to us, we have fitted CCTV throughout the nursery as well as at the front of the nursery.

All parents sign their child in on arrival and out on collection, and a password system is in place for any unknown relatives or family friends who collect a child from the nursery.

"'Children are safeguarded because staff are aware of their responsibilities to protect them from abuse and neglect". Ofsted Report 2015

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards

Our Mission statement

Our objective is to create a warm, friendly, caring, safe, learning atmosphere, one that is best for your child, to treat each child as an individual and to put their care first.

We aim to encourage learning through play with activities both inside and out, which will develop the whole child. We aim to have a careful balance of care, learning and play. We aid this by providing a nutritious menu with 'home' cooked meals and snacks.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework from the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

Our objective is to cater for many children from all backgrounds and to work as a team with parents and other professional outside agencies with the child's best interests at heart.

Parents have the greatest influence on their children, and have a unique role to play in their development. We aim to support and extend that role in partnership with parents in the rewarding task of caring for and educating your child.

We also aim to create a secure and caring atmosphere, in which the transition from home to nursery is a positive and enjoyable one for your child. We hope to provide a stimulating, structured environment, irrespective of their gender, ethnic or social background or special educational needs.

Activities and experiences will revolve around play. This is a very serious business to the young child and it is through play that children learn about themselves and their environment. It encourages concentration, perseverance and physical effort.

Activities and resources are thought about well in advance and follow particular themes/topics to give first hand experiences and access to a broad and balanced curriculum. This will encourage each stage of development.

From birth to five years and enable your child to learn and develop skills and understanding which will prepare them for continued education and their future school days.
